The Worship Conference in Kamchatka was a powerful time of impartation
In August 2003, Tim joined a team from Portland and Anchorage to minister at a Praise and Worship Conference in Kamchatka, Russia. Steve Ganz and Juan Salinas were the other speakers at the conference. Steve is a pastor and good friend of Tim's from Portland. He and his two sons, Nathan and David, ministered with Tim to the conference of over 600 people from churches all over Kamchatka and Siberia. Juan Salinas, from Mexico and a producer with Marcos Witt, Mike Herron and CanZion Productions out of Houston, was a delightful speaker each of the three days of the conference. His songs, stories and humor carried the conference into a wonderful time of praise. The conference highlight was probably the joining in worship expressions from so many varied cultures and ethnic backgrounds. As they danced and sang and worshiped Jesus (Eesus) it was easy to sense the probability of 'every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord' in that great hall in Petropovlask. Pastor Nikolai and Pastor Anatoli have established a great work there in the capital city of Kamchatka and started a Bible College, training hundreds to preach and teach the word of God to a thirsty population throughout the peninsula. They have established 20 churches and influenced hundreds for the gospel of Jesus Christ. The work team from Anchorage helped rebuild a home in two weeks for the staff at the Bible College. We were thrilled to be an active part in what God is doing there and hope to return soon to continue teaching in the area of worship and music in the church, releasing His Song and His presence throughout Russia.
